Barra Navidad/The Town

This is a fun, clean and friendly little town.
It seems much busier and more organized than most of the towns we have visited.
The towns people are very proud of this new church that was just completed on the same site as the old one they tore down.
Here is the outside of the church.
The usual shops with lots of color.
And then there is the meat market.
And you can buy ALL the parts of the chicken (pollo).
The produce is plentiful here.
And to spice up that meal....
Here is what it's all about! This is lobster, shrimp and pasta, all cooked on John and Rosies boat, "Eager Dreamer".

Ah, your pictures are getting to me again! Thank you for them.

I love the carnecerea picture. Did you know that you can age the beef yourself. Just buy that steak, put it in the reefer for about a week, until it turns a funny color. Wash under running water until the slim is gone and you have "aged beef". It is great!
